Finding Great Jewelry

When I started thinking more seriously about heading into the professional realm, I realized that I needed to update my jewelry. I had been wearing fun costume jewelry for years, but it wasn't resonating with the people that I worked with or my clients. It was really frustrating, so I decided to head shopping to update my collection. It was amazing to see how big of a difference a nice new necklace and some conservative earrings made. This website is all about finding great jewelry that fits within your budget and your wardrobe. Check out this blog for more information.

Give Jewelry to Those in Your Wedding Party

Blog

When you select a gift for those who will be part of your wedding, think of giving them some jewelry. By doing that, they will always have something tangible to remember your special day and the part they played in it. How much you can spend on the jewelry will, of course, determine what you purchase. Here are some ideas that might help you.

1. Gifts for the Bridesmaids

If you are on a limited budget, think of buying each bridesmaid a set of silver-toned or gold-toned bangle bracelets. Another idea would be simple faux pearl earrings, which the bridesmaids could wear for your wedding. A third idea would be to purchase an ankle bracelet with a heart as part of the design.

If you can afford more expensive gifts, think of buying real pearl earrings or a simple necklace with a real pearl as part of the design. A gold necklace with a gold initial charm would also be a lasting gift. Yellow gold graduated oval hoop earrings would be another good gift for your bridesmaids.

2. A Gift for the Flower Girl

If you will have a flower girl as part of your wedding party, she will probably love a locket necklace. If you are on a budget, go with costume jewelry. Otherwise, choose real gold or a gold plated locket. Another idea for a less expensive gift would be to select a costume jewelry charm bracelet that has different kinds of flowers as the main design. If you want to spend more money on your flower girl, she would probably love a simple necklace with a cultured pearl.

3. A Gift for the Ring Bearer

One idea would be to buy a tie tack with the ring bearer's initial as the design. The ring bearer would probably be very excited to receive a real pocket watch. His monogram on the pocket watch would make the gift even better.

Think of purchasing extra gifts, just in case you forgot somebody. For instance, your mother's friends might end up helping at the wedding. You might also decide that you want to give a gift to the girls who hosted wedding showers or other events for you. A beautiful brooch would be a good gift for any of those people. Another idea for a jewelry gift to have on hand would be to select tennis bracelets with faux diamonds in the design.
